. . . at my fave yoga studio, at my fave
yoga class, taught by the lovely and
talented Kevin, who would love to be
in Varanasi (and so he turns off fans
and turns on space heaters, even
though the temp is 93°F!) That's
okay—we're schvitzing for Shiva.
Lucky you weren't glowing so much from the heat that your camera slipped out of your hands, Alexa. Great pic! I do yoga too, nearly every day, but here at home on the deck. I love it.
ReplyDeleteNote to readers: doing yoga will not make you taller.
ReplyDeleteLOL, Shell! If it did, you and I would not be as vertically challenged as we are. Still, if I can't be tall I'll settle for limber and mellow (which I DO get from yoga). Om.
ReplyDeleteThat's strange. Before I started doing yoga myself a couple years ago I was 5'6". What are you guys doing wrong? Does growing while upside down result in negative growth?
ReplyDeleteOK. I probably surpassed your heights by the time I graduated from elementary school.
I do wish I was in either of your condition but rather than limber and mellow, I’m more of a mellow limburger.
"I probably surpassed your heights by the time I graduated from elementary school."
ReplyDeleteCheese, TG, rub it in, why don't you...
So is your yoga world upside down, or is the regular world upside down? Clever shot!
ReplyDeleteFunny, TG. My cat does yoga too, and he does seem, if not taller, somewhat longer.
ReplyDeletebibi -- Good question. It's most definitely the world outside the window here that's standing on its head!
I love this take on your "view".
ReplyDeleteAlexa: I just tried that amazing cat pose but it just made me sneeze. I couldn’t get my tail to behave like that and it kept tickling my nose.
ReplyDeleteTG -- I'm trying to picture it, but laughing too hard.
ReplyDeleteGesundheit, mein freund!
