Skywatch Friday

A storm blew in over St. Peter's Square
and quickly flooded it. Then the sun
came out, and an hour later it hailed!
It was a whole day of crazy weather in Rome.

  3. PTDD!

    Gawd, Bibi, you're game. :)

Floodwater gives me goosebumps for some strange reason - as do photos of shipwrecks!

It's a spectacular photo, Alexa, in spite of my goosebumps.

  4. You photo is so heavenly I wasn’t sure at first if this was St. Peter’s Square or St. Peter’s Gate.

  5. Thanks, Audun

Bibi -- I did not wade through—only because I was there in Rome for the day only & didn't want to go barefoot or soak my shoes (not because I'm a wuss—really).

Shell -- it wasn't really THAT deep! Kinda like a pigeon hot tub.

TG -- :~D If it had been the latter I might have stayed & begged to be let in!
