Well, I say if they don't put up a no-photo sign where engrossed photographers can see it, then whatever you're taking a photo of is fair game! I've been through this tunnel! And I will take a photo next time... :< p
What is the use of a CHECK POINT at the entrance of the tunnel ? Is it because it is a toll one ? Shell Sherree, I put a comment for you as well as for Alexa on yesterday's post, hope you read it and you're not both too mad at me.
Marylene -- I'm not angry—just disappointed for you that you didn't feel you could (didn't want to) do it. I understand because I'm a bit timide and don't handle large groups of people too well. But I hope that if Shell and I had been there you would have shown up! BTW, all these precautions (no photos, etc.) have been here since 9/11.
Marylène ~ what Alexa said. :) How could we possibly be mad at you. And I share yours and Alexa's shyness in large groups. Maybe next year ~ wouldn't we have fun together! TG will have to go to the bar to get drinks for us, though, or we could get lost in the madding crowd.
I would be honored to do such service for you and Alexa, Shell. But I must forewarn you that I can become height-challenged myself in those situations when I drink a little too much and have to reach out to get my balance—when I reach out to a nearby surface in nearest proximity to my face—the floor.
I’m a heavy snoozer so please feel no need to keep the conversation down for my sake. The sound of your mellifluous voices will probably just send me off to a wonderful dreamland, dreaming of those sweet familial relations of my youth like one might reminisce about here.

ReplyDeleteThen I guess you'll provide us with our very own bar to lean on, TG - thank you! We'll put coasters down first and look after you well.
ReplyDeleteAh, Coasters. Love ’em.

Excellent, TG ~ we shall yakety yak all night, reassured with the comforting knowledge that we are not disturbing you. Too kind!
