Mellow Yellow Monday
Here's another shot I took at Staten Island's
Snug Harbor Cultural Center, which includes
a first-class museum. This sculpture really
caught my eye—it's one of those things you
look at and think, "I could do that." But I'm
willing to bet money I don't even have that
you absolutely could not! So sorry, but I
didn't have my notebook with me, and can't
find the scrap of paper with the name of the
sculptor (and Google has failed me).

this is a great piece, so spirited.
ReplyDelete& I love the old radiator in the background too.
Well, no mind who did it, it's a piece of sculpture I find pleasing.
ReplyDeleteI love it! It's like a scribbly doodle given the 3D treatment. And yes, visions of old wire coat hangers and a pair of pliers flitted through my head, but they were quickly dispelled!! One of those deceptively-simple, talented creations.
ReplyDeleteGreat sculpture!
ReplyDeleteExpressive wire sculpture, looks great in that yellow room!
ReplyDeleteIt is a very cool sculpture. Great photo :)
