brooklyn brown(?)stone

I'm always amused when I pass this house in
my neighborhood.  It reminds me of one of
my kids' favorite storybooks.

  1. Pure joy! Probably pissed off the neighbors, and I like natural stone, but sometimes the best answer is out loud and lovin' it.

  4. Bibi said it best about it being the color of Pepto Bismol! This looks like it has been colored in.
& Uselaine is probably right about the neighbors. My parents painted their house a bright primary blue for years. the grandchildren loved it, but the nieghbors felt otherwise.
It must be awesome to see this brownstone in person.

  5. webradio -- merci et bienvenue!

Not sure what possessed these folks to do this. Personally, though, I think it's a hoot.

  6. Reminds me of a Sesame Street site without Oscar the Grouch. Bibi's right about the color...good choice of descriptors. I too would laugh if I walked by it, but part of me is also intrigued by it. Visually it does grab one's attention.
