abc wednesday - I is for "Irish"

On St. Patrick's Day here in NYC (well,
actually, this is Brooklyn: the courthouse and
my subway station), it doesn't matter
whether your family is from Dublin or
Dubai, County Cork or Cancun—on this one day,
we're all Irish.  Erin go bragh from
English-Scots-French-Polish-Danish me!

  3. My great-grandmother was Irish, but from the North, but never mind! I love Saint Patrick's Day and your photos are a good reminder for me, since not much goes on here.

  5. Hi!
Great "I" shot. Is the building really green? WOW! And yes I have green on a little shamrock necklace. Have a great St. Patrick's day!

  6. That's green lighting, no? I love this shot.

Brooklyn IS part of NYC, at least since 1898.

On behalf of the ABC Wednesday team, thank you!

TG -- I think I'll have a green martini instead, and I've Sherrie and Roger -- Yes, the courthouse (in Brooklyn, definitely part of NYC but vive la différence) is bathed in green light.
