storm surf

This little guy couldn't resist the huge
swells created by Hurricane Bill as it
heads for Canada's Maritime Provinces
(at this point—two days ago—the storm
was about 900 miles away but already
making itself felt with huge swells
and strong rip currents).

Despite the No Swimming sign, there were
lifeguards on duty and they were letting us
have SOME fun. The minute anyone waded in
above their waist, though, you'd hear the whistle.

  1. Looks so impressive !! No more blue sky ! Did you try to swimm too ?

  2. That is swell! I'm glad everyone made it back to shore. Of course, waist height for us is still the shallows...

Thanks, merci, grazie, danke, hvala, gracias, spasibo, shukran, dhanyavaad, salamat, arigato, and muito obrigado for your much-appreciated comments.
