Manhattan Bridge
Well, the very tippy-top, anyway—as seen
from the Brooklyn side. Just realized
that this bridge will be 100 years old this
year. Not as "sexy" as its closest counterpart,
the Brooklyn Bridge, but even more useful,
since it carries cars, pedestrians,
AND subway trains.
Oooh, I like this photo very much; cool angle.
ReplyDeleteLove those bridges ! I had a poster of the Brooklyn bridge in my student's room and I was so happy when I could see it "for real" on my last trip. Like Bibi, I like the angle you chose for your picture. BTW, did you get my mail ?
ReplyDeleteOooh, I like it very much too! And the colours are elegant together.
ReplyDeleteThanks, ladies! Bibi, I took this when I was w/you.
ReplyDeleteMarylene -- I sent you a reply (finally). Shell -- I liked the colors too, but it pleases me that you find them "elegant."
