Whenever I'm in Central Park, I feel like I'm in a valley surrounded by tall mountains. The tallest "mountain" here is at Fifth Avenue and 59th St. If you're going to visit the park, this might be helpful.
I have a couple of these shots myself from last summer... Didn't get to spend as much time in Central Park as I wanted... I always think of Wayne Newton's song, Danke Shoen (sp?), "I recall Central Park in fall, la, la. la!" (And of course the film, Ferris Beuller's Day off, in which Matthew Broddick 'sang' the same song in a parade...

ReplyDeleteI love this about the park too Alexa! do you get to the Met's roof garden at all. It's really pretty in the Fall when the leaves are turning.
