in the park

Whenever I'm in Central Park, I feel like
I'm in a valley surrounded by tall
mountains. The tallest "mountain" here
is at Fifth Avenue and 59th St.
If you're going to visit the park,
this might be helpful.

  1. That great picture is exactly the reason why I am soooooo excited about spending a few days in New York !!! Thank you for the link !!!

  2. I have a couple of these shots myself from last summer... Didn't get to spend as much time in Central Park as I wanted... I always think of Wayne Newton's song, Danke Shoen (sp?), "I recall Central Park in fall, la, la. la!" (And of course the film, Ferris Beuller's Day off, in which Matthew Broddick 'sang' the same song in a parade...

  3. Do you pinch yourself some days, Alexa? What a view!

  4. Oh, and of course, Pointy-topped Doo-dad!

  5. I love this about the park too Alexa! do you get to the Met's roof garden at all. It's really pretty in the Fall when the leaves are turning.

Thanks, merci, grazie, danke, hvala, gracias, spasibo, shukran, dhanyavaad, salamat, arigato, and muito obrigado for your much-appreciated comments.
