shadow Shot Sunday

While flying over the foothills of the
Blue Ridge mountains, I looked down and saw nothing
but . . . shadows! (It really is an obsession.)

  1. Marvelous capture -- and, yes, we are all obsessed! And isn't it fun?
Hope your weekend has gone well! Enjoy!

  2. You look like you're pretty low. Love what low angle light does to irregular surfaces.

  3. I'm obsessed with shadows as well. The only problem is you really do need sun for those and we haven't had any in quite a while! IT's POURING today. I may have to swim to church!

  4. Lots of shadows here today, and I'm not even in an airplane. I like this. I love to take photos from a plane, one of the reasons I always want a window seat.

I know the Blue Ridge mountains...

  5. Wonderful shot! I'm usually too nervous to look out of airplane windows, so I'm amazed at your courage as well as your eye for shadows!
