Skywatch Friday

This church is in Springs, an East Hampton
community with a thriving art scene.   In fact,
I was there for a gallery opening where
the works of my talented friends
Jim and Jana were showcased.

  1. I love this sky Alexa! the white church really shows it off perfectly. thanks for the art links too, very interesting.
& I must confess, I do take pictures while driving but I do make sure there are no other cars near me at the time. i know it's stupid, but I hate missing a good shot. I know you'll understand given the topic of your last post...he-he.

  3. Great lighting. I love how the simple white church pops out against that stormy sky...

  6. Thanks, Linnea!

Marylene—yes, we do! I once reminded my blogpal Rahul from Bombay Clicks that, half a world apart, we were looking at the same moon. (BTW, he's coming to NYC to go to school in September. When exactly will YOU be here?)

  7. We arrive in Washington DC on Sept 16th and leave on the 30th, but I don't know yet if ours friends will have enough days off to come with us in New York.
If so, we'll be in NYC around the second weekend (25 to 28). If they can't we'll spend the 2 weekends with them and come during the week(22 to 25).
They said they would tell me soon so that I can get my hotel room, last time we staid in Chelsea.

  12. Such an incredibly moody sky offset by the purity of the white of the church. Great catch!
