I almost wish I had a reason to wear
something like this (seen here in
one of Lord and Taylor's holiday
windows). On the other hand,
there's a lot to be said for pure comfort.
What's your preference?

Pas de doute, avec la neige qui nous arrive, la deuxième solution !!
ReplyDeleteAvec ma silhouette générale aussi !!!
Bon dimanche malgré le blizzard, s'il est déjà sur NYC...
Once upon a time, I would have given my eye-teeth to wear that dress, and I was thin enough to wear it well. Nowadays, the pajamas win out every time!
ReplyDeleteMuch comfort would be my reason for wearing the white dress.
ReplyDeleteI'm with you, Marylene and Kenju! (And, yes, on a plein de neige.)
ReplyDeleteAnd, TG, I'd probably need to finish off a whole bottle of that "comfort" before I'd have the nerve to wear that dress.
Have a great ShadowShotSunday
ReplyDeleteand
Happy holidays!

I vote for comfort.:)
ReplyDeletefor me, it depends on the occasion - I dress up if I'm going out for a meal or out dancing, but for work and country walks its comfort every time... I wouldn't wear this dress though, beautiful though it is...
ReplyDeleteThe dress doesn't look terribly practical, but perfect for a fantasy evening out. Me, I'd much rather sit home by the fire!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful.
ReplyDeleteMy SSS can be found here. Merry Christmas!
How beautiful! Come on down to New Orleans, you can wear it for Mardi Gras!
ReplyDeleteOh, yeah! I'd love to wear it. Mostly, I'd just love to have the body to be able to wear it! Great shot.
ReplyDeleteThese are lovely shadows Alexa.
ReplyDeletemaybe this is more comfy than it looks.
I try not to wear anything unless I am comfortable in it otherwise I get cranky.
If you want the snow effect, go here.
Thanks, all! Truth be told, I'll take comfort too. In fact, could I just live in my pajamas, please?
ReplyDeleteThanks for the link, Lily—
I love my PJs, but I'd quite enjoy taking that dress for a spin ~ after they shave a foot off the bottom of it...
