photo Hunter — "cuddly"

Okay, I admit it—this is my teddy bear.
He lives happily on my comfy chaise and
likes to cuddle with me when I
curl up with the latest page-turner.

  1. I’m ashamed to admit that when I read the first two words of the book title I thought of this.

I see that a more recent book of his deserves to have its title broadcast far and wide: “Stones into Schools: Promoting Peace with Books, Not Bombs, in Afghanistan and Pakistan.”

I bow to such as he.

  2. He looks so caring, attentive, and just comfortable to be with. Do you mind if I ask you what the name is of Mr. Cuddlelumpkins with his dandy lime-green flaring scarf?

  3. TG -- I hope that woman has triplets one day. The bear IS a pretty endearing companion. He goes by Bear Butt. (There's precedence for this silliness: We had two cats a while ago, named George and Albert, but my kids called them Jo-butt and Al-butt.) Fortunately, the bear has a forgiving nature.

  6. He's cute. I have a teddy, too, that I use as an extra pillow to prop my head when I read.

  10. That’s an interesting progression from Albert to Al-butt and then "George” extrapolated to Jo-butt. One wonders if the original coiner of the monikers was a certain K-butt.
