Mellow Yellow Monday

Not all of New York's subway stations are
dull and dingy.  I hate having to ride the subway,
but I love finding beautiful tile work like this.

  1. That is pretty. Would brighten anyone's day, and I like how you caught the dark figure, which adds interest.

  2. Oh, I love it. And yellow is so 'in' at the moment, too.

  3. That is beautiful tile work. I love the curves. A passage done like that could indeed make a commute somewhat less than onerous. But I fear that there is something about its maintenance that could be akin to painting the Golden Gate Bridge—just when you finally finish it is time to start from the beginning.

I have a feeling that this passageway doesn’t lead directly onto this particular neighborhood.

  4. Interesting photo with the bright yellow, curving design and the furtive figure walking alongside
