Macro Monday

I just finished watching the Academy Awards, and
noted a serious dearth of purple sequins. A few more 
feathers wouldn't have hurt either.  Most of those
dresses were just a tad too classy, if you ask me.

See—this one has both!

    I love elegance at the Oscars, but it's nice to have one or two gals who are brave enough to take a Worst Dressed hit for theatrical value. This dress is brave, Alexa.

    That certainly ties in with the 1920s theme of the evening.

    I’m guessing your dress there might actually be quite a recent version because I could find a documentary photo of the same dress before it molted.
