Shadow Shot Sunday

Visited VMI (Virginia Military Institute), in Lexington, Va.,
recently. The houses of the commandant and other
bigwigs are all designed (like this one) to resemble a fort.
 I found it a tad bizarre—but love those shadows!

    Yes, it is odd to live in a fort when you're in the military, I think, but it IS a cool shot. (shot, ha, boom)

    It is odd but I love the shape of the tree shadow. It resembles a big creepy hand enclosing the building to carry it away. Or did I just get carried away? Don't mind me. Carry on! ;)

    this is so neat - it's almost spooky, like the tree is about to take over the building. maybe i've seen too many movies. either way - love it!

    You were at the right place at the right time of day to get quite an interesting photo. I'm with you on the "don't leave home without it" reference to your camera. You never know what you might come across. Be prepared!
