Shadow Shot Sunday

Can you see what's going on here? This tall building
(on 5th Avenue) was reflected in the overcast sky above.
Not the greatest picture ever, but I just though it was so cool.

[See more Shadow Shots here.]

  1. Holy whatever, Batman!! What a capture.

  2. Wow! That is cool! It's not something I've ever noticed before. Perhaps our buidlings are not tall enough to cast a shadow in the sky! Very nicely spotted! Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Re your shots included in the last two collages... You're welcome! I didn't realise I had included you last week (as I try to mix it up and not repeat the same people weeks in a row). My method obviously sometimes fails :)

  3. Superlative!!! Almost like something from SciFi.

Mine this week is a heron casting its shadow near the marina.

    Here's the direct link

    Have a great Sunday.

  4. Hi Alexa.
Your pictures show New York as a fantastica place. I look forward to more photos o streets, buildings and interesting places in New York :)
    I added to watch.
    Greetings from Poland :)

  5. I like it, too; clever angle.

I'm back, as you see, and ready to blog again. Thanks for your help in linking while I was gone!

  6. this is really cool. If I saw this in person I probably would be convinced I was seeing something paranormal!

  7. That is a fabulous shot and like others have said... not sure that I would have recognized that it was a shadow on the ceiling of the world!

Thanks, merci, grazie, danke, hvala, gracias, spasibo, shukran, dhanyavaad, salamat, arigato, and muito obrigado for your much-appreciated comments.
