I've encountered this group of obsessive
exercisers a few times while walking
(fast, but still walking) across the Brooklyn
Bridge. They jog across the bridge and stop
at each pier for some extra torture. I really
do admire their stamina (and their willingness
to put up with their gung-ho trainer).
Hey, I guess I'm just not a joiner.

Impressed but not enough to want to join them ! I certainly should exercise a lot but not in group and not in public either !!
ReplyDeleteNice shot, as always and Bon Dimanche.
I keep getting an image of them suddenly sprawled on their backs with the fence flying up, over, and away.
ReplyDeleteYou are on the right track, Alexa. Not much exercise is better than walking and yoga. The only problem I can see is that walking might not take you out of dangerous proximity with them fast enough.
I admire their stamina AND their shadows! Great shot! Have a great week :)
ReplyDeleteYou joined my friend and me, and Lily, too, when we crossed (strolled) the Brooklyn Bridge!
ReplyDeleteWalking IS the best exercise, and could you have captured this photo had you been running? :)
Hahahaha me too, well I like to exercise in a subtle gradual pace ^_^Happy Sunday!
ReplyDeleteSSS-The lantern
it looks like boot-camp!
ReplyDeleteI wonder if any of them knew they were casting such delightful shadows? Probably not!
ReplyDeleteThat's a great shadow shot of the mad joggers! I see similar groups in Greenwich park near where we live-who have a scary trainer too!
ReplyDeleteI see most of you agree w/me: no public exercise with scary trainers.
ReplyDeleteBibi -- that's true, but we were a very exclusive little group!
oh no! Your picture rings a bell in my head: I promised to start stretching today - not done yet! But it's only 10 am - still many hours to go! :)
ReplyDeleteHappy SSS greetings from Casablanca, Morocco!
