abc wednesday - X is for "Xeriscaping"

. . . which is a method of landscaping that uses
drought-resistant plants in order to
conserve water. That doesn't mean just
cactus, though—this lavender that's making
my bedroom so fragrant right
now came from a Xeriscape garden.

[See how others interpreted X here.]

  2. I love lavender and have some growing on my porch. Xeriscaping is something we don't need here right now, with all this rain. But it's hot and sunny now; who knows?

I like how you have displayed your lavender.

  7. And to think, I always thought Xeriscaping meant "Rocks and weeds".
