you wanna buy a bridge?

Not the picture I wanted to post, but I'm lucky to
be able to put anything up! (*^$%@ computer).
You fellow PDPers will appreciate that phx-cdg and
I met this evening (that's the photo I wanted to post)
—and the first thing we did was walk across the Brooklyn Bridge.
PHX (aka Lynn) is terrific and we had so much fun together.
Thanks, Eric—look what you started!

  1. Say, how much does that bridge go for these days? I might have a buyer. ;-) Too cool, Alexa. I can tell that Lynn (PHX-CGD)is a charming and witty lady, as are you of course. I knew you two would hit it off. Really it is extraordinary the friendships that have resulted from blogging. And to think I started blogging more out of a need for downtime as I took a break from writing. It's now become something I truly look forward to each day. I love reading about all the bloggers' travels and experiences. Glad you had fun!

  2. coltrane -- yes, Lynn is super. We talked pretty much non-stop for almost 6 hours!
Hey,one of these days, I hope we'll be reading about your travels. We didn't go much of anywhere when Katie & Lila were real little, but when we traveled to Greece when they were 7 and 9, they loved it. I'll bet there are LOTS of places you'd like to take your girls. First stop Paree?

  3. I agree with Uselaine -- Yay PDP! Sounds like you had a fabulous time with PHX-CDG in Brooklyn. Great idea to walk across the Brooklyn Bridge; that's such a fun walk. I'm excited that tomorrow I'll see Lois again, and get to meet "from Cali" and then a month from now I'll get to hang out with PHX-CDG in Paris, and maybe meet some of the other PDP cast members. Coltrane you're so right that blogging is resulting in lots of friendships! Alexa I'll let you know next time I'm in New York; I want to book a play date!

  4. PHX is fab... I love the way she is so expressive with her face, eyes, hands that even if she lost her voice she would still manage to make people laugh!
