fire escape


Never saw one this color. It's probably the
anti-rust coating and they'll paint it black soon.
But if I lived here, I'd lobby to leave it like this.

    Wow,that's my dog's favorite color...fire hydrant red? It's hard not to think NYC whenever I see a fire escape. Probably from watching too many shows with bad guys wriggling from them as the police give chase. Huggy Bear says he'd hate to be the dude that has to paint all that metal, Starsky. ;-)

    I'm ashamed to admit this, but it reminds me of the end of Pretty Woman where she meets Gere on the fire escape. Only it didn't look as nice as this one.
