Montauk . . .

. . . is where I am for a couple of days. This is
the Montauk Light, out at the very tip of
Long Island.  It's been there since 1796, and
was used as a guide by the members of the
slave ship Amistad to come ashore nearby.

  1. Holidays in the Hamptons !! Lucky you !!
Hard to imagine, especially from France, that you are still in New York area.

  3. Marlene said it all for me! Enjoy your time away, Alexa. I wish you better days with your computer issues too. I just got a new computer this summer after my hard drive crashed. Had a Computer Tech from National Guard (a parent of one of my students) who helped me rebuild my machine according to my own specs. Nice job and am very pleased. All for under $375.00 too. Fortunately, I had most of the important information backed up, but I did lose about two months of the kids' photos and important email correspondance. C'est la vie. Hey, kick around some waves for me, will you. Talk soon. Ciao!

  4. Alexa hope you're having a blast in the Hamptons! Have you seen PHX yet? Cool lighthouse; I actually posted lighthouses the last two days. I love blog synchronicity!
