a special street

It's in Paris, near the Place de la Bastille—and filled
with colorful houses, some with trompe-l'oeil effects.
I was taken there by my dear friend Genie,
who does the great Paris blog Paris and Beyond.
Merci, Genie!

As you probably guessed, the kitty
has a victim in his sights—and
in my version of the story, the little
bird gets away every time.

  1. Looks can be deceiving. Especially considering that moments before both of them were inside looking out waiting for the window to open so they could get some fresh air and exercise.

  2. I like your image and your story ending:) It certainly is a special street....would love to go there one day. As for classical music, I think the music from Swan Lake was probably one of the first I heard - at school - also Peer Gynt by Grieg. Also.... I have booked tickets to see Swan Lake (traditional version) performed in February. It will be a first for me - I am sooo excited... I guess it is a nostalgia thing too. Thanks for sharing your work on Mandarin Orange Monday:)
