I, too, am wondering if you ll got the 4 inches of snow we were supposed to get but didn’t. Even with snow on it, this is one fine, fine bridge. Looking at all of the lines and all of that steel, I can’t help but think about the workers out there in midair endangering their lives every day constructing this architectural giant. Your capture is a truly awesome one filled with detail, lovely lighting, and texture. I do not know how you could improve on it...it is perfect just the way it is.genie
This is perfect - I have spent much of the day planning my next trip to NYC, where I will include Brooklyn. (Any non-touristy must sees from a local?)
ReplyDeleteSuch a great bridge! And terrific shadow shot for the day! Hope you've had a wonderful weekend!

By now "your" bridge is probably covered with snow!
ReplyDeleteSHADOW SHOW
Shadows creeping through the land,
Shadows dark on every hand—
If they should begin to glow,
You had better run, you know!

ReplyDeleteSimply Beautiful. What a magnificent photo of that bridge. I love this shot.
ReplyDeleteSuch an icon, even for those of us who don't live in the Big Apple.
ReplyDeleteFascinating metalwork.
ReplyDeleteWell the design of the bridge is world known. But you captured it perfect. Like it
ReplyDeleteWhat a fine composition!
ReplyDelete«Louis» appreciates your contribution to Sunday Bridges!
Wow! I have never seen so many cables on one bridge. Keep on clicking.
ReplyDeleteIt is wonderful that you are able to walk along this bridge unimpeded by traffic.
ReplyDeleteWonderful!! Is the bridge snowy now...? Marianne and I went walking here today, in the autumn sun...no snow yet.
