Took this shot of the line (one of them!) to come up on the Eiffel Tower. And did I have to wait on this line to get up there? Mais non! The way to legally jump the line is to make a reservation at one of the restaurants up there. I chose the less expensive one on the first level—and still had a terrific view overlooking the Trocadéro while I enjoyed a tasty lunch. so glad to read about your wonderful tip because you know this is exactly what I plan to do when I finally get to visit Paris!
ReplyDelete& btw-this is an amazing shot.
Yes, AMAZING! Wondering what you were standing on gives me vertigo on top of my acrophobia.
ReplyDeleteThey look so tiny. One could believe they were actually waiting for an attraction underground—like a human ant farm.
To avoid waiting I just took the stairs. But now that we have this tip from an occasional Parisienne resident we’ll be sure to give that a try. Thanks.
I think I would prefer the lunch than the stairs!
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing shot, I love it. And thanks for the "no waiting" tip!
ReplyDeleteThat is a long ways down since the people looks tiny. Happy PH!
ReplyDeleteI love the shot! I wouldn't mind waiting there. :)
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous weekend.

I think that is a wonderful tip, Alexa, and I have only been "up" twice. When I take my husband next spring, it will likely be my third!
