New York at Night (7)

Saw this clothing store as I was strolling
down Broadway in Soho late at night.
I'll have to go back when they're open and
find out what's up with the hundreds
of antique sewing machines they have displayed
from floor to 30-foot ceiling.

  1. How fitting that you'd find a bunch of Singers somewhere on Broadway. Certainly makes for lovely photo, Alexa.

  2. I think Shell is quite clever in her comment! I can see through the window that there are machines stacked to the ceiling. I remember learning to sew on my grandmother's Singer and can still smell the little motor and oil in my memories.

    Nice shot, Alexa.

  3. What an interesting shop. I would love to be able to stroll down that street one day. Thanks for the photos of New York.

  4. It looks like one of the antique Singer sewing machines my grandmother had.

  5. Neat! Both of «Louis'» grandmothers had Singer machines like this.
