Alexa, I just saw Billy Elliot last month! I thought it was very good. Have you ever used Broadwaybox.com? I was able to get a pretty good discount through them. If I had to do it again I would have waited for a closer more central seat. We were sitting on the left side in the last row of the first mezzanine. I would at least try for front and center mezzanine. I hope you are doing something relaxing today!
Although I saw Wicked on Bway 6 or 7 times I have not been back to NYC for two years and there is a whole 'nother crop of fabulous shows. Billy Elliot would be at the top of my list!
I haven't been to NY in about 15 years though I've traveled the world over. Since massive SF budget cuts ended my 21 year job as a forensic nurse with the city and my income plummeted over $90,000 annually, I'm hardly able to afford a Netflix movie. Times are pretty scary!
At 65, I've done it! My poetry book - Life's Journey by Carmen Henesy - is out on Amazon! ( Poems about the things that have been important to me in my journey through life, some humorous, some sad, some that may have meaning to you as well ) http://www.amazon.com/Lifes-Journey-1-Carmen-Henesy/dp/1451547366/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1274652997&sr=1-1 ( Go to the site and click on reviews to see what folks think about my book! )
Well, its my first visit, nice post. I am in Maine and wish I was in NYC. All great things to do. I miss it. I am going to aa wedding on Long Island in Dec so maybe I can work some fun things in. Stop over sometime. zYvonne

I loved the film, and can only imagine how good the show must be.
