Houston Street

I love this Keith Haring mural—
it just brightens up the whole
neighborhood. I like our prez
peeking out on the right too.

  1. If one word, then—Wow!

    I liked that the graffiti pricks tried to blend in rather than overlay.

    If that red, middle occularity was less 20/20 and more like 20/9,000 we might hear this tune emanating to the chant of, "Jump! Jump! We're with you!".

  2. Superb photo, Alexa!

    I was about to grrrr about the tags when I noticed, as TG did, that they at least endeavoured some respect by brushing the Haring with the grain rather than against it.

    Excellent link, TG! {Bien sur.}

  3. What a beautiful way to phrase that Shell, "...they at least endeavoured some respect by brushing the Haring with the grain rather than against it." I'm sighing with admiration.

    {Wish I hadn't put that extra "c" in that "ocular" derivative above}

  4. Coming from you, Yoda TG, I will take that lovely compliment with pride and bask in it.

    {I didn't even notice the extra "see" in your ocular derivative...}
