Sat. night at Rodeo Bar
. . . and the Lone Sharks rocked the joint until
the wee hours. Here's my question:
How come I can barely walk and chew gum at
the same time, and my bro Chris here can do
something different with each limb—and sing—
all at the same time?? So unfair.
Alexa, is Chris really your bro, or were you practising your gangsta rap? I'm guessing he's also a master of rubbing his stomach and patting his head at the same time. I never could get the hang of singing and playing the piano at the same time. {Some would say I never got the hang of singing full stop.}
ReplyDeleteI can work and blog at the same time...ha,ha.
ReplyDeleteHe uses his right hand, and he uses his left hand, and all the while, while using his left leg and right leg, he uses his voice? Well, his namesake loan sharks are known to be usurious.
ReplyDeleteshell -- yes, he is my actual factual baby brother. He also plays the piano (and the trumpet, trombone, clarinet, flugelhorn, flute, and I forget what else). In all fairness, he HAS been practicing for 40+ years!
ReplyDeletebibi -- me too! LOL
TG -- yup, you got it!
LOL, Bibi! TG, thank you - there's my 'word for the day' taken care of.
ReplyDeleteAlexa, your baby brother is very talented. Must be fun for you to hang out listening to him. I foolishly attempted trombone as my second study many moons ago. I think I chose it after my first experience with a half Scotch and dry in a 10 ounce.
