where am I?

And sometimes the subway is downright surprising,
although these typical New Yorkers don't seem to
notice. This is the shuttle that runs between Times
Square and Grand Central Terminal—it's three trains,
each only four cars long, and sometimes one of them
will be used as one big advertising space (as with
this ad for Westin resorts).  Cool, huh?

  1. Ice fishing or jumping into a brisk lake in winter...just a few things to take one's mind off riding the subway, eh? I love the art within. I don't know if these folks do though or if they really care. Thanks for working the camera for us, Alexa.

  2. Nice picture.
When I took the metro 2 days ago with a hot and humid weather I would have appreciated such a refreshing sight !!
