Now this wasn't painted by a donkey tail! :-) Tremendous imagery. This dazzles. In a lifetime, I'd never be able to recreate this which took nature probably minutes. It's so ephemeral, like one of those sand paintings by Buddhist monks, yet you managed to capture it. I like to think skies like these remind us humans how important it is to take care of our environment. Enjoy your weekend, Alexa!
Here's the ironic part: the worse the pollution, the more colorful the sunset (or so they say, but is it true?). And this shot is un-fooled around with! Meanwhile, my "good" camera lost an important part, and I just found out it will cost almost as much to get it fixed as it will to upgrade to the next better model. Not sure I can resist that really loooong lens! Thanks, all.
Good weekend to you as well, Alexa. 8^)
ReplyDeleteCan't help inhaling deeply the stillness.

Wow! That is an amazing sky.
ReplyDeleteAlexa, sorry to hear about your camera, ach! Perhaps the pollution acts as a filtering device to allow for the dazzling shots. However, it is ironic!
ReplyDeleteI'm off to a dinner tonight with the visiting Japanese teachers. Should be fun!
