allons, enfants!

The Philharmonic came back to Prospect Park
last night to help all us Francophile Brooklynites
celebrate Bastille Day. Naturellement, the evening's
entertainment was capped off with fabulous fireworks.

  1. Wow! Alexa, you do live where all the action is! I would love to sit down with you one day and chat all about your experiences in France. You are extremely knowledgable about the land of the grape! When I stayed there in 2004, I stayed near the Sorbonne on rue Champollion and absolutely fell in love with the 5th arr. de Paris. Yep, just a stone's throw from the Cluny, too, and my favorite garden "Luxembourg." Thanks for more fireworks you Batille Day GF Queen. :-)

  3. coltrane --Wow, you really were in the thick of it. I lived a few blocks from there once upon a time, and it is a rockin' nabe for sure -- then and now.
    (I'd enjoy that conversation too)

  4. Perfect weather to be outside too, I hear. Saw and heard a few seconds of the event on the news last night.

    Hope you had fun.
