St.-Pierre-de-Montmartre

I've shown you this church once before.
You probably have to be here at just the right
time—and on a sunny day, of course.
If you are that lucky, then you're treated not only

to the beautiful stained-glass windows
but to their equally beautiful reflections.

  2. Oh, wow!

Etherial, ephemeral, magical, magnificent, otherworldly, illusionistic, awe-striking, gawp-worthy, stoner-y spiritual in a pure light way: like the most beautiful artwork done in the most insubstantial medium having not even the substance of the lightest floating of air. Whew!

Thank you, Alexa, for sharing this..

    Just noticed your triangle-of-reds composition.

I don’t think I have ever seen anything like this. The juxtaposition of the solid ancient stone, tile, and wood forms of the church with God’s decorating of the surface with such a panoply of colors, like a miracle of mirage.
