abc wednesday - W is for "window"

This colorful window is in the Doge's palace, way up top.
Could I have one just like it in my house, please?
On the other hand . . .

Casanova could see two of them from
his cell when he was a "guest" of
the doge.  Do you suppose he
appreciated their beauty?

[You can see more ABC Wednesday here].

  3. I'll bet he was frustrated by the iron in "irony" ...

  4. Wonderful window - I would love to have one, too - without the cell, though. Nice capture.

  5. Only in Europe does one see such beautiful displays of stained glass. Oh yes, some people do them, but they just aren't the same. :D

  7. Had to get more details. Beautiful or not, if they stood between him and freedom they would have become shards.
