The Weekend in Black and White

people—and, fortunately, no sharks (they've been a
problem in the near-shore waters off the
Carolinas this past summer).

  3. Your second TWiBaB of Oceancrest Pier. The far end of the pier looks, to me, like a church nave. Unlike the painstaking restoration work necessary to view shining stars at certain Brooklyn naves (Grace Church), here, at night, you merely need to glance, or take a step or two, to the left or right.
