Not quite "leaf-peeping" season here in Brooklyn yet. (Usually, I just wake up one morning to find that it's happened overnight.) This tree, however, has decided to go from green to gold in patches. [To see more Monday Mellow Yellow posts, go to Gemma's meme.] |
A beautiful photo Alexa, lovely golden leaves
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely sight looking up.
ReplyDeleteI love the colourd of Autumn. I have a long wait for it to come here. Nice shot with the sun through the leaves.
ReplyDeleteIt’s almost as if, rather than just individual leaves being affected, the entire tree had some kind of mosaic virus. Whatever. Your photo is a mosaic of brilliance.
ReplyDeleteI can’t look at scenes of the sun shining through tree leaves without thinking of those woodsman’s scenes in Rashomon. I believe I have mentioned that before.
Considering how Liz Needle’s seasons are reversed in Australia we can understand her “wait” for the colours of Autumn.
I really miss the fall colors in 'your neck of the woods'. Not nearly as jaw-dropping here.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!

Nice perspective!
ReplyDeleteI love when the leaves start to shift... That's when it officially starts to feel like autumn I think. Love the light in this picture.
