Thursday Challenge—"shiny"

I think that when most of us hear the word
sardine, we picture a small tin of colorless fish
—or, in my case, the daily rush-hour subway commute.
These very fresh and wonderfully shiny ones
were waiting to be bought at the Rialto Market,
in Venice—and maybe cooked up into sarde in saor

(click here and scroll down for a recipe).

  1. Great picture and very original! Makes me think of holidays in France, Putting fresh sardines on the BBQ...... Hmmmm!

  2. Nice picture and we eat here in Los Boliches at the Costa del Sol many times Espetos de Sardinas. You know it. Saludos

  3. They are so shiny it caught me off guard.

  4. Nice photo! Fish are beautiful; the way their scales ripple and glow, and the colors.
