Wasn't it thoughtful . . .


of this shop in Soho to put out a bowl
of water for passing pups?
I loved this gesture and I don't even have a dog.
This one is from the archives—with wind chills
below 0°F here today, that would be a bowl of ice.

    They do that here too. Sweet shot - although I do wonder about that 'Look out for alligators' decal in the window...

    Perhaps the bowl of water was for passing alligators? Lovely photo. I fully understand not going out to take pictures when it is 0 degrees out.
