Thursday Challenge—"shiny"

I think that when most of us hear the word
sardine, we picture a small tin of colorless fish
—or, in my case, the daily rush-hour subway commute.
These very fresh and wonderfully shiny ones
were waiting to be bought at the Rialto Market,
in Venice—and maybe cooked up into sarde in saor

(click here and scroll down for a recipe).

Thursday Challenge—"shiny"

This was found on the same street I showed
you on Monday.  Someone has definitely been
taking care of the shiny brass door knocker . . .

though the door frame could
use a bit of tending to.

Thursday Challenge—"shiny"

I think this chandelier is gorgeous
—though it would not suit my humble
home.   Just as well, perhaps, since I
would never have the discipline (or
sense of balance!) needed to keep it
looking this clean and shiny.
