ABC Wednesday—W is for "whisks"

Welcome to E. Dehillerin, Paris cookware emporium
extraordinaire.  Unlike Julia Child, I did not
stock up on copper cookware.  In fact, I
didn't buy a thing—but I did take tons o' photos.

  1. You're lucky they allowed photos. I've had fingers shaken at me so many times when I've tried to shoot shops. You got a good one.

  2. Wonderful patterns. I would not have been able to resist new cookware. Great photo. I'm looking forward to seeing more.

  4. I also am surprised they allowed photos...some shops get so anal about that. Love the close-up of the whisks.

  5. I never appreciated WHISKS until I was an adult. SO much better than forks for mixing.

  6. I love the starburst patterns they make when stacked together, kind of like slow, horizontal fireworks.

They look like just the thing for a certain “whiskered” one.

The wood of those bins looks old enough to date from Lutetia.

  7. Where I live I don't have an electric mixer. I use a whisk all the time. - Margy
