Traveling Tuesdays—Coliseum

I live in NYC, where they tear down even buildings that are on the
National Register of Historic Places.  So I just love Rome—where
I can still visit a place that was built about 2,000 years ago.

  1. So true about NY & the same thing happens on Long Island too.

  2. As much it is true inside Paris, as much it is so hard in the rural areas to have old buildings saved. They are torn down or "renovated"! And I don't know what is worse!
    Du vrai faux rustique...
I loved walking in the Coliseum, it was so easy to imagine the games, plays, even "sea battles" that used to take place there. Thanks for the nice memories.
