the bluebell wood

Don't know if I've ever used a picture that I took with my iPhone.
Well, here's one I took today of the amazing bluebell wood
in the BBG.  I showed it last year. (And did I mention
that there are 40,000+ bulbs planted here?)

[Today is Shadow Shot Sunday. See more shadows here.]

  2. Ahem, I'm starting to think the dozen bulbs I planted last week could be insufficient. How magnificent, Alexa. I've seen a few iPhone photos lately with various different treatments, and they are quite astounding.

  5. Oh my gosh....I've lived in Texas [blue bonnet is the state flower]...and I haven't seen such beautiful flowers in the 'wild' like this.

    Ribbit...hope you can join me sometime today! Happy week.

  6. When I lived in Pennsylvania, I had bluebells on my farm. I miss them...

    MY BLINGLESS SHADOW

    A shadow’s an odd sort of thing;
    It might have a nose or a wing,
    A tail like a dog,
    A bump like a log,
    But one thing it has not is bling!
