ABC Wednesday—D is for "Duty-Free"

This overpriced (duty-free or not) little item
would make an interesting addition to my
Eiffel Tower collection.  So did I buy it?
I did not—fortunately, someone already
gave me one of these.  I never shop the
Duty Free; I hang on to my leftover euros
and just assume I'll be back.  So far, so good.

  1. The tops of those made me realize that something might be more tempting than candy, such as this. But why stop there when there is this? Now that we have wine (distilled), woman (singular, alas), it would be nice to find some kind of song.

Isn’t it nice to return to a country with a sheaf of local currency without having to go through currency exchange?

  2. Colorful shot for D! I visit the duty free shops just to kill time, I seldom buy something.

  5. I agree that you have to be careful at those duty free shops...you can get taken in by all those goodies.
