I actually snapped this big, round rising moon back in August when I was out in Montauk (the name of Long Island's primary Native American tribe). The August moon got its name (the sturgeon moon) from fishing tribes, but I prefer its secondary name: the red moon. Very fitting and much more romantic—Happy Valentine's Day, everyone!
