ABC Wednesday—C is for "carved"

 
And all the egocentric people who just had to
cut their name into this crooked tree.  I have 
an old school desk that looks just like it.

    It seems cruel, doesn't it. I hope everyone gives this poor old fellow a rest and perhaps he eventually can regain some well-earned dignity.

    You hate to see a tree carved up, but wouln't it be interesting to know the stories behind each name or initial.
