How about a bike ride?

This fantastic bike is parked underneath the
Brooklyn Bridge.  It's the work of Olek,
crochet artist extraordinaire, who is currently
based right here in Brooklyn. She's covered lots of
things in crochet, including the huge statue of the bull on lower
Broadway.  Go here to see a short film of that installation.

  1. I’m lichen it.

Seems like she has done some work on a few boulders here out west.

Love Olek working on the bull. Thanks for the link. I only hope she tucked her fingers into warm, crocheted gloves soon after. Brrr.

  3. Olek's work is wonderful. I love the clip of her pulling her pieces together with the bull. And the end result was amazing! This bicycle must have been a walk in the park compared to the other.
