Skywatch Friday



Recently took a ride on the Staten
Island ferry at dusk—there was just
enough light left to get a shot of
the old girl with my long lens.

    That verdigris glows like She has been softly lit from within. Great timing. She does look thrilling. The closest I have come to such a scene was also on a boat—bateaux mouche, to be exact. I was actually quite startled to see her somehow more plain-Jane little sister here.
