photo Hunter — "hanging"

If I won the lottery, I'd fill my home(s!)
with these gorgeous hanging lamps
designed by Mariano Fortuny. I'm
pretty sure there's only
one place (in Venice) allowed to manufacture
the real thing (just as there's only
one store in Venice allowed to sell
the fabulous Fortuny fabrics).

[You can find more things "hanging" here.]

  6. Kim -- no need to imagine: the big 3-tiered one is
$7,636 (and that doesn't include the cost of shipping)!

  13. I looked at the website, and now I'm confused. Are these gorgeous things made out of glass or out of silk? Because if it's silk, it does seem a tad foolish to pay $7000 for something that will pick up all kinds of NYC dirt!
