Happy Christmas* . . .

. . . from me to you!
(*or Hanukkah, or Kwanzaa—whatever you're
celebrating, I hope you're having a wonderful holiday~)

  1. Have the merriest of holidays Alexa. It's nice to see you in one of your photos too. Cheers to all in NYC!

  2. this is a great self portrait. Merry Christmas!

  3. Such a fun Christmas photo! Have a wonderful Christmas Alexa; maybe I'll get to meet you in the new year!

  4. Look! The sun is no longer descending closer to the horizon day by day. Let's celebrate. The sun is rising bit by bit, day by day. We won't be plunged into eternal darkness after all (except economically, sadly). Let's celebrate with lights on something everlasting like um, um, an evergreen tree!

Yes! Bring on the fauns and pans and satyrs and the Christmas trees and lights. Whoopie!

The pulchritudinous visage in some of the ornaments brings to mind "Parmigianino's Self Portrait in a Convex Mirror of 1523/24."

Art history can lead us into art mysteries such as how some people can be so attractive reflected in convexities.

  5. Enjoy the holidays Alexa.

    Cool photo!

  6. Merry, Merry Christmas. I hope we will meet in 2009. I plan on coming to NYC in mid-June after school is out.

  7. Dropping by to wish you and all your family Happy Christmas, or any other date you and your family celebrate

Thanks, merci, grazie, danke, hvala, gracias, spasibo, shukran, dhanyavaad, salamat, arigato, and muito obrigado for your much-appreciated comments.
