At the Petit Palais

This became my new favorite free Paris
museum when I visited it for the first time
last September.  I went back recently,
had a lovely al fresco lunch there, and haven't
changed my opinion.

  1. I had just been reading some Diane di Prima poems so when I saw this image it looked like eyeball poetry to me. Kind of like:

    Geometric stained glass moon
    Softly drifting concentric architrave
Faint in a cerulean blue-noon sky
    Art nouveau, no,
    More like steam-punk hypo
    Waiting down there needle sharp
    To pierce a convex POP
    Spots glare like flares
    Foreshadowing
    Stars or sun too soon
